1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Relay platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Relay Money ("Relay", "we", "us") reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
2. Description of service
Relay provides a platform for families to view verified financial account balances and inheritance allocations. Relay is not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, investment advisor, or fiduciary. Relay does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. All information displayed is for informational purposes only.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
4. Read-only access
Relay connects to financial institutions through Plaid with read-only permissions. Relay cannot and does not initiate transactions, transfer funds, or modify account settings at any connected financial institution.
5. Subscription and billing
The Service requires a paid subscription after the 14-day free trial. Billing is processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, your account moves to read-only mode. Data is not deleted upon cancellation.
6. Data accuracy
Relay displays balances as reported by financial institutions through Plaid. We verify freshness (time since last successful sync) but do not guarantee the accuracy of balances reported by third-party institutions. Numbers displayed are not rounded.
7. Posthumous access
Account holders may designate a co-admin who will receive administrative access upon verification of the account holder's passing. Relay's death verification process requires documentation consistent with industry standards. Subscriptions continue after an account holder's death until the designated admin cancels.
8. Limitation of liability
Relay is not liable for any financial decisions made based on information displayed in the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Relay's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
